Connecticut Shorty and New York Maggie
Connecticut Shorty and New York Maggie are sisters and daughters of hobo Connecticut Slim. The sisters have been part of the hobo community for decades. Between 1995 and 2006 they lived the life of "rubber tire tramps" roaming the United States in a small motor home. Connecticut Shorty is an author and has written Connecticut Shorty- Riding the Rails, as well as booklets detailing various hobos and their life experiences. Both women have played an important role within the hobo community and have advocated for the preservation of hobo culture.
